Hair extensions are a useful way to add glorious volume, length or colour to your hair. Our highly skilled experts are trained not only to ensure that your natural hair is in excellent condition and health is maintained, but also enable you to understand how to manage the extensions between salon visits. We offer several hair extension systems, including Nano bonds, Micro Ring, Brazilian Interlock and Tape Hair Extensions. We use the highest grade Remy double drawn premium hair, which blends incredibly with your natural hair and also allows you to heat style and wear your hair in any way you choose. THE CONSULTATION PROCESS
Every great head of hair starts with a great consultation. We will assess your hair and outline the incredible results we can achieve and also show you how to manage your extensions in between salon appointments. Our priority is the health of your hair so we will work out a plan for you to maintain your new look. We will always test extensions in your hair to ensure you are satisfied with the feel of the extension before completing a full application. Through the consultation process, we will identify and provide a complimentary colour matching service, as well as colour testing for clients potentially requiring professional colour services alongside the hair extension service.

THE HAIR
HIGH GRADE REMY HAIR
This hair is the preferred choice for many of our clients, due to its natural softness and natural look which is available in an extensive range of colours to ensure a seamless and discreet blend. Mixing colour shades means we can create a custom blend of shades to achieve your desired colour, adding highlights or a balayage effect without the need for hair dyes or bleach, resulting in damage-free colour. Extend the length of your hair and add thickness whatever your natural hair length.
THE EXTENSION SYSTEMS
MICRO RING EXTENSION SYSTEM
The micro-ring technique is a salon professional extension system allows you to achieve longer length, vibrant colour and volume for healthy, fuller looking hair. This non-glue hair extension technique works by combining strands of natural hair with the extension hair using a tiny copper ring. These are expertly placed to minimise stress on your natural hair and seamlessly blend the two together. The system does not use glue and no excessive force is applied during removal, therefore causing no damage to your natural hair. Typically, micro-ring extensions require maintenance every 12 weeks (tightening) and the entire extension can be re-used for up to 9 months with no loss
of length to the hair extensions as long as the correct maintenance is carried out in between salon visits. The copper rings are available in different colours to ensure they blend seamlessly. We would normally recommend this system for medium to thick hair types. It is less suited to very fine hair or for clients who want extensions placed higher on the head. The application of micro ring extensions is available in full-head ,three-quarter-head or half-head applications your stylist will recommend how many you will need during your consultation. The mico-ring system takes between 45 minutes to 3 hours to apply depending on what you are hoping to achieve. We will provide you with training on how to manage your new extensions and an aftercare kit will be provided to you at the end of the first application and is included in the price of your extensions.

NANO RING SYSTEM
Nano Bonds are a salon professional extension method is the smallest and most discreet hair extension system which adds length, colour and volume for healthy-looking strands. While the system provides incredible results, it will also not damage your natural hair and does not use glue or harsh substances. The Nano Bond extensions are applied and attached using tiny beads, coloured to match the root of the hair for a seamless and discreet blend. The Nano bond system allows users to wear their hair up or down whilst being undetectable. Depending on desired end result you are looking for, Nano Bonds are available in full-head, three-quarter-head or half-head application. Each individual extension consists of an 0.8g strand, which does not put excessive stress on your natural hair and also means that the extensions are comfortable to wear.

TAPE EXTENSION SYSTEM
Tape hair extensions are the perfect extension method for anyone who wants incredible results, and they are also faster to apply than other extension systems. Tape Extensions are our most popular extension service due to the natural looking results that are also faster to apply, and they are typically a favourite for brides on their big day or for shorter haired individuals looking for extra body in their style. The tape system integrates your natural hair in-between two lightweight tape-in hair extensions. Made from a super flat polyurethane weft strip, each pre-taped piece is ready to apply and stays fixed for 6 to 8 weeks. The removal and reapplication process is gentle and uses an alcohol spray to allow the extensions to be removed before retaping the same hair and re-fitting. Each pack contains 16 pre-taped extension wefts ready to apply by our experts. We offer two types of tapes, “slimline tapes” and “invisible tapes” the latter being less detectable, which is deal for placing extensions in more visible areas near the top of the hairline. This method is fantastic for adding volume, length and colour to your hair and with a wide range of colours available you will hae a seamless blend of hair from 14" through to 22". The tape system takes between 45 minutes and 2 hours to apply depending on the desired result. We will provide you with training on how to manage your new extensions and an aftercare kit will be given to you at the end of the first application which is included in the price of your hair extensions.

BRAZILIAN INTERLOCK SYSTEM
This extension system is exclusive to Edward James, and is the perfect way to add dramatic length or body to your hair. The system is very gentle on your hair, and does not use any glue, tape to attach the hair weft. The extensions are attached using a specialist weft which is interlocked with your natural hair. The system takes between 30 min and 2 hours to apply depending on the desired result and is designed to be re-fitted every 4 to 6 weeks. The hair can be re-used for up to 9 months provided the recommended maintenance is followed in between salon visits. We will provide you with guidance on how to manage your new extensions and an aftercare kit will be given to you at the end of the first application.
